FERAL, along with ATREE and NCBS established a field station in Nilgiri's in 2012. The field station is located within the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board colony at Avalanche. The EB has been very supportive of our field station which has allowed us to have all the amenities close to our field sites in the Nilgiri South forest. This field station catered to the Changing Water Cycle project, supported by the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India.
