About
Gopinath is a freelance documentary and wildlife photographer, documentation specialist and designer currently based in Pondicherry. Graphic design work is done by TURNSTONE DESIGN which he founded in 2008. Photography is the medium he has chosen to create awareness about social and environmental issues that are of concern today. He also teaches Photography and Design at Pondicherry University.
His association with FERAL began with a photo documentation on Kalivelli Wetlands, which he authored. He continues to help FERAL with documentation and photography on ongoing projects.
Gopinath is currently working on his book on South Indian landscapes in collaboration with the French Institute of Pondicherry.
