Summary
An earlier project of ours documented artisanal fishing, settlements and fisheries. To maintain the inroads made at the area of focus and to be able to constructively contribute to fisheries management, this project continued our surveys on artisanal fisheries along the Coramandel Coast to enhance our database.
Objectives
1. To understand the qualitative and quantitative status of the fisheries and fishing patterns along the Coromandel Coast over an extended period of time

• Data on fish catch, size of fish, gears used, etc. was collected over the project period.
