Objectives

 

  1. To train village apprentices in planning and monitoring watershed projects
  2. To conduct socio-economic and bio-physical surveys.
  3. To prepare GIS based maps as a tool for planning, managing and monitoring activities on these watersheds.
  4. To prepare protocols for implementing similar watershed development programs

 

Status

The project was successfully completed.

 

  • Apprentices trained in various survey tools.
  • Detailed information base created for the villages.
  • Protocols devised for a PRA-GIS hybrid system.
