FERAL is a field based organisation and most of our team members operate from our three field stations in the Western Ghats. We have two offices, the administrative centre is near Pondicherry, part of our two acre campus. Much of the wildlife sciences and conservation work is coordianted from our Bangalore office at J.P. The administrative office of FERAL was based out of Pondichery until a few years ago, when we made the move to our campus at the outskirts of the city. The campus is a quiet and relaxed place, a bit isolated, but with the basic amenities.
The Bangalore office is the nerve centre for most of our projects under the Wildlife Biology and Conservation programme. Our small geomatics facilities also reside here. The office is ususally buzzing with activity as many researchers hop in for impromptu meetings and discussions with the team based here.
The contact person at the Bangalore office is Nitya. The address is:

The major landmark for this area are the Raggi Gudda temple, which is just 50m away.
FERAL, along with ATREE and NCBS has a field station at the Emerald colony of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board. The EB has been very supportive of our field station which has allowed us to have all the amenities of a modern town quite close to our field sites in the Nilgiri South forest. This field station caters largely to the Changing Water Cycle project, supported by the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India.
The contact person at the field station is Saravanan. The address is:
